Mechanism Token
Our ecosystem is governed by smart contracts supported by Cardstack Token (CARD). With this single token, users can pay for their mix of software usage, verified by our off-chain consensus protocol. The result is a seamless experience for consumers, and a fair reward for makers and miners.
1-Cardstack Token (CARD) is a utility token that enables end users and businesses to use applications that interact with multiple blockchains, decentralized protocols, supported dApps by applications, and cloud-based services while paying single on-chain transaction costs.
2-In this particular settlement network, software makers get tokens from prize pools, proportionally allocated based on usage data, code dependencies, user feedback, and transaction history - chewed and verified by analytic miners.
3-Software and services require a predictable price. To get started, the user changes the Card Token Become a non-transferable benchmark called Software and Services Coupons (SSC) pegged to US dollars, before the coupon is deposited in the application's consent contract. Meanwhile, Card Token is added to prize pool.
4-When an app is in use, a coupon is burned to establish an on-board transaction Token to the gift maker.
5-A smart contract under user control can provide top-off app retainer when the token runs low, while other contracts operating at the network level can exchange the Card Tokens to other utility tokens as necessary, all without user intervention.
